Established in 2007, TISA LIFEBOAT & LA SERVICES is a subsidiary company of Talleres Industriales, created to offer specialized services for lifeboat safety and launching appliances.  

The implementation of the revision of Reg. III/20.11 of SOLAS by Resolution MSC 152 (78) in force since July 1^st, 2005, requires that the careful and total examination of lifeboats and cranes as well as the dynamic testing of winch brakes and operational testing of lifeboat on-load release gear must be carried out  by representatives or by  a trained or certified person by the manufacturers according to the “Guidelines for Periodic Servicing and Maintenance of Lifeboats, Launching Appliances and On-Load Release Gear”.

We have performed hundreds of annual and five-year on board inspections in ships in the Cristobal and Balboa anchorage as well as in other terminals in the Panama Canal area.   Due to our strategic location, our service engineers can easily travel in short notice to any country in Central America, South American and the Caribbean.  In Colombia we have a service engineer station that can attend in short notice any terminal or anchorage in either coast in a cost-efficient manner.

Additionally, TISA LIFEBOAT & LA SERVICES has been authorized by most Administrations and Class Registries to inspect and certify all the Life Saving Appliances installed onboard.
