Talleres have heavily invested during the last decade in technology and infrastructure.
At Cristobal we have more than 12,000 square mteres of facilities which include workshops, bonded area, storage space and office center.
Our new 4000 square meter state-of-the-art workshop, is equipped with overhead cranes. CNC steel cutting equipment, balancing machines, robotic welding equipment, industrial oven, hydro blasting equipment, heavy duty lathes and milling machines.
1. At the pacific entrance of the Panama Canal we also have a 2000 square meter operations center to deploy our personal equipment and gears to the vessel at Balboa anchorage in a quick and reliable manner.
Our infrastructure is not only on the land but goes to both oceans at the Panama Canal.
2. At Cristobal inner anchorage, we havethe supplyboat Gustavo Castro with deck space and capacity up to 13 tons and workboat Don Rafael.
At Balboa anchorage we have the supply boat Scamp 1 with deck capacity of 7 tons and the workboat Tisa II.

We also have 3 deck barges stationed at Cristobal inner anchorage with 600 tons capacity ready for work at any projects.
To complement our services, we have 4 crane trucks of up to 30 tons capacity to attend vessels at terminals on both sides of the canal.
3. Next year Talleres plans to build new 4,000 square meters workshop, for fabrication, maneuvering and repairing parts of greater size for ships and the heavy equipment that will be used during and after expansion of the Panama Canal.
This multi-million dollar investment will further contribute to employement and development of Panama.

More than forty years ago, Rafael Arosemena together with small group of enthusiast engineers and technicians started the ship repair company in Cristobal on the Atlantic side of Panama Canal, he could hardly imagine company´s today achievements and worldwide reputation.
